Chicago indie-rock outfit Ax and The Hatchetmen will bring their dynamic, genre-blending sound to the Music Hall of Williamsburg on Tuesday, Nov. 19, as part of their So Much to Tell You Tour — their biggest headlining run to date.
The tour follows the release of their vibrant new single “Oasis,” a bright and infectious love song that nods playfully to both the Britpop legends Oasis and the Beatles. The track is the first taste of their forthcoming debut album, So Much to Tell You, due out Oct. 24 via Arista Records. The project promises to expand on the band’s mix of jangly guitars, warm harmonies, and free-spirited energy showcased on July’s Constant Change EP.
Led by frontman Axel Ellis — who recently appeared as Neil Crosby in Prime Video’s The Runarounds — the six-piece band has built a reputation for delivering feel-good performances packed with charm and musical chemistry. Fans can expect a lively set that moves from soulful anthems like “Blurry Lights” and “Hotel Room” to breezy, horn-laced cuts like “Oasis,” offering a night that’s equal parts nostalgia and new beginnings.
After supporting Fitz and the Tantrums earlier this year, Ax and The Hatchetmen are stepping confidently into their own spotlight. Their Brooklyn stop is one of the most anticipated dates of the fall tour, promising a high-energy night of soaring melodies, infectious grooves, and stories that connect.
