Following the release of his latest single, Lemonade, and the announcement of his third studio album How Did I Get Here? (out Jan. 23, 2026), internationally acclaimed artist Louis Tomlinson has revealed plans for his 2026 HOW DID WE GET HERE? World Tour, which will bring him to arenas across North America, including Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
The North American leg of the tour kicks off June 3 at Vancouver’s Pacific Coliseum and will include stops at major venues such as the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, TD Garden in Boston, and conclude on July 24 at Miami’s Kaseya Center. Tickets for North American dates go on sale with an artist presale starting Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 10 a.m. local, followed by general on-sale Friday, Oct. 10 at 10 a.m. local. Tomlinson describes his upcoming album as “the record I always deserved to make. My bread and butter is my honesty. I genuinely wear my heart on my sleeve, and I hope it comes through in the music. I’m still learning and getting better as a singer and songwriter. I find it impossible to be complacent; it’s not in my vocabulary. For the first time now, I’m allowing myself to be the artist I’d always hoped to be.”
On the lead single, Lemonade, he adds: “The most important thing was for the first single to sound ambitious sonically. It had to be big and fun. To me, ‘Lemonade’ really has instant and natural personality. It ended up being the perfect way to begin this chapter.”
This summer, Tomlinson will also headline The Away From Home Festival at Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown, New York, a two-day festival marking the first U.S. edition of the event. “I’m so excited to be bringing Away From Home to the U.S. and for the first time, a two-day festival! Really honored and grateful to have such a strong line-up over both days, got a few things up my sleeve too. Can’t wait to see you all there, it’s going to be special!”
Fans attending Madison Square Garden on July 8 can expect a full celebration of Tomlinson’s evolving artistry, combining the energy of his arena tour with the intimate honesty that defines his music.
