The New York Pops returns to Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage for its beloved annual holiday concert tradition, A Place Called Home, on Friday, December 19, and Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. The festive program, led by Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke, will feature Broadway and television star Megan Hilty and Judith Clurman’s Essential Voices USA, performing a joyful blend of holiday classics, carols, and heartwarming favorites that capture the spirit of the season.
“We’re so excited to be back at Carnegie Hall this December for our annual holiday concerts, and to share the stage once again with our friend Megan Hilty,” said Steven Reineke. “This year’s program of seasonal favorites is sure to get you in the holiday spirit. We’ll see you there!”
Tickets are available via carnegiehall.org, by phone at 212-247-7800, or at the Carnegie Hall Box Office (57th Street and Seventh Avenue).
A Star-Studded Holiday Tradition
Now in its 43rd season, The New York Pops is the largest independent pops orchestra in the United States and the only professional symphonic orchestra in New York City specializing in popular music. Known for its annual sold-out holiday concerts, the ensemble brings Broadway sparkle and symphonic grandeur together for an evening of music that has become a highlight of the city’s winter calendar.
This year’s guest artist, Megan Hilty, is one of Broadway’s most luminous performers. Known for her star turns as Glinda in Wicked, Doralee in 9 to 5: The Musical, and Ivy Lynn on NBC’s Smash, Hilty has received Tony, Drama Desk, and Drama League nominations for her work on stage. She currently stars in the hit Broadway musical Death Becomes Her.
Joining Hilty and The New York Pops is Essential Voices USA, a distinguished choral ensemble directed by Judith Clurman. The group has appeared on some of the nation’s most prestigious stages, including Lincoln Center and the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting, and brings rich choral textures to the evening’s seasonal selections.
Upcoming Performances in the 2025–26 Season
The New York Pops continues its Carnegie Hall subscription series with an exciting lineup of concerts:

- February 13, 2026: If I Ain’t Got You: The Best of R&B featuring Maleah Joi Moon and Avery Wilson
- March 13, 2026: The Music of Us: From Then to Now with Max Clayton, Nova Y. Payton, and Ephraim Sykes
The New York Pops
Under Steven Reineke’s dynamic leadership, The New York Pops celebrates the evolving American songbook—from Broadway and Hollywood to pop, jazz, and rock. The orchestra has collaborated with world-class artists including Sara Bareilles, Sutton Foster, Queen Latifah, Jason Mraz, and Barry Manilow, and is a fixture of New York’s cultural landscape.
In addition to its acclaimed concert series, The New York Pops is deeply committed to music education through its PopsEd programs, which serve over 100,000 New York City students with free music instruction, mentorship, and performance opportunities.
