Perfume Genius, the stage name of Mike Hadreas, will bring a stripped-down “Duo Tour” to North America next spring, including a performance on April 2, 2026, at the New York Society for Ethical Culture’s Adler Hall.
The tour, which begins March 31 in Washington, D.C., will also include stops in Toronto, Boston, and New York City, and concludes April 9 in Homer, New York. The performances will feature Hadreas alongside longtime collaborator and keyboardist Alan Wyffels in a more intimate setting than his previous full-band shows.
“Alan was the first person I ever sang in front of,” Hadreas said. “We’ve played every single show together for 15 years. We want to sing stripped-down versions of newer songs as well and write some new music altogether to play as a duo.”
Hadreas recently released his critically acclaimed album Glory via Matador Records, which earned a GRAMMY® nomination for Best Album Cover. The album, produced with longtime collaborator Blake Mills and co-written with Wyffels, explores themes of love, domesticity, and the body’s vulnerability.
Alongside the tour announcement, Perfume Genius shared a new music video for the track “Me & Angel,” directed by Otium. The video continues the artistic vision of Glory, which has appeared on numerous “best of 2025” lists from Billboard, Entertainment Weekly, Flood, and BrooklynVegan.
