British singer-songwriter Yellow Days, the stage name of George van den Broek, will perform at Warsaw in Brooklyn on March 18 as part of his 2026 world tour. The tour follows the release of his new single, “Special Kind of Woman,” from his upcoming album Rock And A Hard Place, due Feb. 13 via Independent Co.
Influenced by music legends like Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, and Sly and the Family Stone, Yellow Days blends soulful lyrics with bluesy melodies and vibrant arrangements. On “Special Kind of Woman,” he celebrates his wife, singing about love and shared life experiences over energetic brass, keys, and guitar riffs.
The album, a 14-track project, was developed amid creative challenges, with Yellow Days collaborating with Newcastle jazz fusion band Knats to bring his vision to life. The lead single “Sharon” debuted last month, setting the stage for the artist’s highly anticipated tour.
