One of the city’s biggest summer traditions is officially back.
Governors Ball announced its 2026 lineup Monday, confirming the festival will return to Flushing Meadows Corona Park from June 5–7 with headliners Lorde, Stray Kids and A$AP Rocky leading a diverse, genre-spanning bill.
Lorde will headline the festival for the first time after previously performing at Gov Ball in 2017. She is joined by Stray Kids, whose stadium-selling performances have made them one of the world’s biggest K-pop acts, and Harlem native A$AP Rocky, who returns as a hometown favorite.
The three-day festival will feature more than 60 artists, including Baby Keem, Kali Uchis, Jennie, Katseye, Geese, Major Lazer, Pierce the Veil, Dominic Fike, Blood Orange, Clipse, Mariah The Scientist, Wet Leg, Amyl and The Sniffers, Freddie Gibbs & The Alchemist, The Dare, 2hollis and Ravyn Lenae.
True to its New York roots, this year’s lineup highlights a strong slate of local talent, from indie favorites Geese and The Dare to rising acts Del Water Gap, Arcy Drive and Lexa Gates. The festival will also spotlight youth music programs such as School of Rock Queens, School of Rock New York and Kids Rock for Kids.
Presale tickets will be available Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. ET through the festival’s SMS presale system, with the public on-sale beginning immediately afterward. Organizers say prices will rise once general sales open, and physical wristbands will return for the 2026 event.
Fans can choose from a variety of ticket options, including GA, GA+, VIP and cabanas, as well as pit viewing passes that offer premium sightlines at all three stages. Layaway plans and local Queens resident discounts will also be available.
Beyond the music, Governors Ball will once again celebrate Queens’ world-class food scene with curated local vendors, along with immersive art installations, photo moments and fan experiences throughout the park.
With easy access from across the city via the 7 train and the Long Island Rail Road, the festival continues to be one of the most accessible major music events in New York — and a signature way to kick off summer in the five boroughs.
