GRAMMY-nominated R&B artist Summer Walker will bring her Still Finally Over It Tour to Brooklyn on Tuesday, June 2, when the arena run stops at Barclays Center (620 Atlantic Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11217).
The Brooklyn date is part of a major North American tour launching May 26 in Toronto and running through early July, with stops in Atlanta, Miami, Houston and Los Angeles before concluding July 3 in Vancouver. Walker will later take the tour overseas with a special performance at London’s O2 Arena on Aug. 2.
The tour announcement follows the success of Walker’s latest album, Finally Over It, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and topped Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Known for her emotionally candid songwriting and intimate vocal style, Walker’s live shows are expected to deliver a deeply personal concert experience.
Joining Walker on the tour are rising R&B artist Odeal and rapper Monaleo, who will appear on select dates.
Walker revealed the tour this week after a series of surprise promotions, including an appearance at Georgia State University and branded limousines spotted in Atlanta and Los Angeles. Tickets for the Barclays Center show go on sale today following a series of presales.
The Atlanta-based singer rose to prominence with her 2018 breakout mixtape Last Day of Summer and cemented her status as a leading R&B voice with Over It and Still Over It, the latter earning her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200. She has since earned multiple awards and nominations, including recent Grammy nods for her work on Finally Over Itand her EP CLEAR 2: SOFT LIFE.
