The Head and the Heart will perform two nights at Madison Square Garden on Feb. 13 and 14, joining 11-time Grammy Award winner Brandi Carlile on her “The Human Tour.”
The New York City concerts are among the band’s most prominent tour dates of the winter and come during a busy period for the Seattle-based group, which continues to tour in support of its recent releases.
The shows pair The Head and the Heart’s folk-rock sound with Carlile’s acclaimed live performances. The band has built a reputation as a touring powerhouse, regularly filling arenas and headlining major festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits.
In addition to the Madison Square Garden dates, The Head and the Heart are preparing for the digital release of their Ghosts in the Machinery EP on Feb. 27. The EP was previously released as a limited-edition vinyl for Record Store Day Black Friday.
Earlier this year, the band released its sixth studio album, Aperture, on Verve Forecast. The album marked a return to a self-produced, DIY approach and has continued the group’s momentum on radio and the road.
