Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Brandy Clark will bring a new storytelling-focused tour to stages this spring, blending conversation and acoustic performances with some of music’s most celebrated writers.

Clark announced her “Art of the Storyteller” tour, an intimate series that pairs the acclaimed musician with special guests including Patty Griffin, Rosanne Cash, Lori McKenna, Rodney Crowell, and playwright Robert Horn. The events will feature conversations about songwriting and storytelling, along with acoustic performances and personal reflections from Clark and her guests.

Tickets are on sale now via citywinery.com.

Among the stops are two performances in New York City at City Winery. Clark will appear with Cash on April 9 at City Winery and with Horn on April 13 at the City Winery Loft.

Additional shows are planned at venues including Arlington’s Regent Theatre and Portland’s State Theatre, along with two special performances on the Cayamo Cruise. The tour also complements Clark’s previously announced spring headline dates, which include stops in Atlanta, Louisville, Knoxville, Phoenix, Greensboro, and Agoura Hills.

One of her generation’s most respected songwriters, Clark recently performed “Trailblazer (Dream Chaser Version)” during the 68th Annual Grammy Awards alongside Reba McEntire and Lukas Nelson. The performance honored the original Grammy-nominated song “Trailblazer,” which Clark co-wrote with Lainey Wilson and Miranda Lambert.

Clark’s recent accolades include winning Best Americana Performance at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards and Song of the Year at the 2024 Americana Honors & Awards for “Dear Insecurity,” featuring 11-time Grammy winner Brandi Carlile. The track appears on Clark’s self-titled album, produced by Carlile and praised by critics for its deeply personal songwriting.

Beyond her solo work, Clark has written for numerous artists, including “A Beautiful Noise,” the Grammy-nominated duet performed by Carlile and Alicia Keys, and Kacey Musgraves’ hit “Follow Your Arrow.”

Clark has also expanded into theater. She co-composed the music for the musical comedy Shucked with longtime collaborator Shane McAnally. The production earned Clark Outstanding Music at the 67th Drama Desk Awards and a nomination for Best Original Score at the 76th Tony Awards. “Shucked” will make its U.K. premiere this summer at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre with a limited run from May 10 through June 14.
