Ann Wilson, legendary singer and songwriter of Heart, will bring her 10-city North American screening tour for the documentary In My Voice to City Winery in New York City on May 27. Each screening will feature a high-definition showing of the authorized feature, followed by a live Q&A with Wilson and director Barbara Hall.
The documentary offers an intimate look at Wilson’s 75-year life, drawing from personal archives, home movies, and never-before-seen footage. The film also includes reflections from family, bandmates, and music industry colleagues, chronicling Wilson’s impact on rock music and her ongoing creative journey.
Wilson said the film represents her story told on her terms. “It’s about finding my voice, keeping it alive, and sharing the journey with the people who’ve been part of it all along,” she said.
Director Barbara Hall, a Prime-Time Emmy®-nominated filmmaker, called the project “a powerful testament to one of rock’s greatest voices and her remarkable life.”
