The New York Botanical Garden will launch its Orchid Nights block party series on Saturday, March 21, 2026, transforming the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory into a vibrant evening of music, dance, and orchids. The event, for guests 21 and older, coincides with The Orchid Show: Mr. Flower Fantastic’s Concrete Jungle, which runs through April 26.
Guests can dance to live DJ sets from April Hunt and Mixtape, snack on curated eats, and enjoy craft cocktails while experiencing the energy of New York City nightlife surrounded by colorful orchid displays. The evening also features performances by Chanon Judson and Avila Santo, with Hunt providing the music. Orchid Nights are presented on select evenings through April 25 and require a special ticket.
DJ April Hunt is known for creating dynamic spaces that celebrate BIPOC artists and has collaborated with major cultural institutions, including The Whitney, MoMA, and The Shed. Orchid Nights are sponsored by Merrell.
