Beloved jam-grass pioneers Greensky Bluegrass will perform at The Rooftop at Pier 17 on Sunday, July 23 as part of their 2026 summer tour. Tickets for the show are on sale now.
The Michigan-based quintet, celebrating the 25th anniversary of their career and the release of their album XXV, will hit major cities across the U.S., including stops in Toronto, Vail, Grand Rapids, and Indianapolis. The Pier 17 show is part of a headline run that showcases Greensky Bluegrass’s blend of traditional bluegrass, Americana, and rock-infused jam sessions.
Known for dynamic live performances, the band—Anders Beck (dobro), Michael Arlen Bont (banjo), Dave Bruzza (guitar), Mike Devol (upright bass), and Paul Hoffman (mandolin)—has been described by Billboard as “trailblazers for the acceleration of the freewheeling, jamgrass movement” and by No Depression as infusing “bluegrass-based music with rock-band energy.”
Their latest album, XXV, released in October 2025 on the band’s 25th anniversary, features collaborations with longtime friends and musical partners, including Billy Strings, Sam Bush, Nathaniel Rateliff, Aoife O’Donovan, and Holly Bowling. The album reimagines classic Greensky Bluegrass songs while celebrating the band’s musical evolution over a quarter century.
Fans can expect an energetic live set combining new tracks from XXV with signature songs from Greensky’s extensive catalog. The band has built a reputation for immersive performances, often drawing audiences for multi-night runs at iconic venues such as Red Rocks and The Ryman.
