“Moulin Rouge! The Musical” has officially extended its Broadway run through Aug. 30, 2026, as guest star Megan Thee Stallion enters her final month with the production.
The three-time Grammy winner is scheduled to conclude her limited engagement as Zidler on May 17. New production photography featuring the actress was released today, documenting her time in the show since her debut last month. Broadway veteran Eric Anderson will resume the role of Harold Zidler starting May 19.
Winner of 10 Tony Awards in 2021, including Best Musical, the production has reached over 12 million audience members across 15 global productions. The show is currently playing on Broadway, on a North American national tour, and in several international markets, including London’s West End and Germany.
Directed by Alex Timbers with a book by John Logan, the musical is a theatrical adaptation of Baz Luhrmann’s 2001 film. The stage version features a musical mash-up celebrating over 160 years of music.
