Country vocalist and songwriter Willow Avalon is bringing her upcoming headline tour to New York City for a performance at Webster Hall. The concert date is part of a massive North American tour scheduled for this summer and fall.
The tour follows the announcement of Avalon’s anticipated sophomore album, Pink Pocket Pistol, which releases June 26 via Atlantic Outpost/Assemble Sound. The musician recently previewed the upcoming album by releasing her latest single, “Work To Do.”
“I wrote ‘Work To Do’ about a man who never said sorry, and had a wholeeee lot of work to do on himself,” Avalon said.
She recently teased the new track during a CMA Fest performance at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium, playing to a crowd of over 60,000 people. The upcoming album also features previously released singles, including “Easy On The Eyes,” “Hypothetically Speaking” featuring Kaitlin Butts, and “Cardinal Sin” featuring Jason Isbell.
According to Avalon, the new record blends her established lyricism with a distinct 1960s country sound. The entire album was tracked in a single week.
“Every single person in the room was on the exact same page,” Avalon said. “It felt wonderful hearing the record out of speakers—after really, intensive, hard work—exactly what I heard in my head.”
Originally from Georgia and currently based in Nashville, Avalon’s musical background includes playing church piano and teaching herself guitar at age 12. Her January 2025 debut album, Southern Belle Raisin’ Hell, earned placements on best-of lists from Taste of Country and Whiskey Riff. She is also a member of the 2026 Opry NextStage class.
The upcoming New York performance at Webster Hall joins a tour itinerary that includes stops at Los Angeles’ The Fonda, Toronto’s Phoenix Theatre, and Boston’s Royale. In addition to her headline dates, Avalon is scheduled to open for country duo Brooks & Dunn this September. Click here to purchase tickets.
