Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre has announced its schedule of fall youth classes, private instruction, and party packages beginning Sept. 19, 2026. All programming will take place at the Amanda Selwyn Dance Studio, located at 412 Broadway, 2nd Floor in Manhattan.
The fall class lineup includes two Ballet/Jazz sessions designed for young children. A class for ages 3 to 5 runs on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., instructed by Erke Roosen Castelluzzo. A session for ages 5 to 7 takes place on Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. with instructor Katie Rolph.
Both class offerings run for 17 sessions through Jan. 30, 2027, and are priced at $680. The curriculum covers foundational ballet techniques alongside upbeat jazz movement, concluding with a final ticketed performance in the studio’s black box theater featuring light and costume setups.
In addition to group classes, the studio offers customized private, semi-private, and group lessons for youth dancers across various experience levels. Sessions range from 30 to 120 minutes, with instruction available in styles including ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, and creative movement led by company and teaching artists.
The studio is also booking customized dance-themed youth birthday parties featuring lesson packages in various genres like pre-ballet, hip hop, and Latin dance. Funding for Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre and Notes in Motion programs is provided in part by the New York State Council on the Arts and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
