GRAMMY-nominated Afrobeats artist Lojay is heading to New York City this fall, with a highly anticipated performance at Bowery Ballroom on October 26 as part of his biggest headline tour to date.
The show comes on the heels of Lojay’s long-awaited debut album, XOXO, due out August 22, 2025, via a global release. Known for his intoxicating blend of Afrobeats, R&B, and sonic experimentation, Lojay is quickly cementing his status as one of the most exciting voices in contemporary African music.
His newly released single, “Tenner,” is a hypnotic, rhythm-driven track that explores themes of desire, temptation, and emotional push-pull—hallmarks of Lojay’s growing catalog. “Tenner” joins recent standout singles “MWAH!” (featuring MOBO winner Odeal) and “Somebody Like You” (produced by GRAMMY-winning producer Sarz), both of which have helped build anticipation for XOXO.
The upcoming tour will take Lojay across major cities in Europe and North America, with his New York City stop at Bowery Ballroom promising an electric night of live performance, crowd energy, and infectious rhythm. Fans can expect a mix of new material from XOXO along with his breakout hits and fan favorites that showcase his signature vocal style and cross-cultural sound.
Whether you’ve been following Lojay since his viral hit “Monalisa” or you’re just discovering his work, this is a show that promises to be one of the most memorable live performances in NYC this fall.

Speaking on the upcoming album and the new single release, Lojay shares: “I’m really excited for the world to hear ‘XOXO’. This album is everything to me – it’s my stories, my moments, my heart on every song. ‘XOXO’ is everything I couldn’t say in a conversation — it’s messy, emotional, sexy, and honest. I wanted it to feel like a late-night text you probably shouldn’t send…but do anyway. ‘Tenner’ is one of my favorites from the project; it’s a love song but the sound is something completely fresh for me. I’ve always wanted to explore that 3-step space and this track just felt right to lead with. I can’t wait to see how people connect with it.”

Lekan Osifeso Jr., popularly known as LOJAY, is a dynamic Nigerian singer-songwriter celebrated for blending Afrobeats, R&B, and experimental sounds. With over 600 million streams on Spotify, he first gained international attention with his 2021 collaborative EP LV N ATTN, produced entirely by GRAMMY-winning hitmaker Sarz. Featuring global smash hits like the RIAA Gold-certified, Billboard Hot 100-charting “Monalisa” (boasting over 250 million streams) and “Tonongo,” the project propelled Lojay onto the world stage and established him as one of Afrobeats’ most innovative voices.
In 2023, Lojay followed up with his critically acclaimed solo EP, Gangster Romantic, further showcasing his versatility and emotional depth across standout tracks like “Moto,” “Yahweh,” and “Leader!” The project cemented his ability to craft emotionally driven, genre-defying records that resonate with fans globally.
Following collaborations with international stars such as Chris Brown, Davido, Wizkid, and Olamide, as well as recent features with Ayra Starr, Fireboy DML, Jae5, Steel Banglez, Tyler ICU and Odeal, Lojay continues to redefine the boundaries of contemporary African music. With his debut album XOXO on the horizon, he stands as one of Afrobeats’ most exciting and forward-thinking artists.
