Broadway star Jessica Vosk—known for her performances in Hell’s Kitchen, Wicked, and multiple appearances at Carnegie Hall—will headline the annual New York Pops Underground cabaret performance on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 54 Below (254 W 54th St, New York, NY 10019). The evening promises an intimate and eclectic mix of songs, blending theatrical moments with pop influences, and highlighting music from Hell’s Kitchen, Wicked, Waitress, as well as hits from Chappell Roan, ABBA, Linda Ronstadt, Don Henley, and more. Vosk previously appeared with The New York Pops during its annual holiday concert in December 2024.
The evening begins with a champagne reception at 5:30pm, followed by the main performance and dinner with wine pairings at 6:30pm. The event will be hosted by New York Pops Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke.
The PopsEd Alumni Ensemble, featuring young musicians who have participated in the orchestra’s Kids on Stage program, will open the evening. Kids on Stage is a youth mentorship program that gives students from all five boroughs access to professional performance experiences, including a comprehensive rehearsal period and a performance with the orchestra on the Carnegie Hall stage.
Proceeds from The New York Pops Underground cabaret fundraiser support the orchestra’s PopsEd programs, which provide music education, arts access, and performance opportunities for New Yorkers of all ages and backgrounds. Since 1991, PopsEd has impacted over 100,000 students across the city.
