Looking for the best things to do in Brooklyn this fall? Mark your calendars because the legendary Atlantic Antic™ is back on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 12–6 PM—and this year, New York City’s favorite Brooklyn street festival is celebrating its 50th anniversary in style.
Hosted by the Atlantic Avenue Local Development Corporation (AALDC), the Atlantic Antic™ stretches for over one mile of food, music, and culture along Atlantic Avenue, from Hicks Street to Fourth Avenue. It’s Brooklyn’s biggest block party, drawing thousands of locals and visitors every year.
What Makes the Atlantic Antic™ Special?
First held in 1974, the Atlantic Antic™ has grown into Brooklyn’s largest and longest-running street festival. It’s more than just food and shopping—it’s a celebration of community, history, and culture.
This year’s milestone event will honor the local merchants and legacy businesses who’ve helped make the festival what it is today. Be on the lookout for “Legacy Balloons” marking businesses that have been part of Atlantic Avenue for over 25 years.
What to Expect at Atlantic Antic™ 2025
The 50th anniversary will feature:
- 300+ vendors serving global street food, handmade goods, and artisanal crafts
- Live music and performances across multiple stages
- Family-friendly fun including games and entertainment

Special 50th Anniversary Highlights
Since the Atlantic Antic™ was born in the 1970s, this year’s festival pays tribute to the decade with:
- A ’70s fashion show
- A live singing competition
- A throwback-style dance party
- A chance to win a cash prize for the best ’70s outfit
Festival-goers can also shop limited-edition Atlantic Antic™ 50th Anniversary t-shirts—including reprints of vintage designs—available at AALDC booths near Clinton Street and Third Avenue.

The festival is easy to reach from anywhere in New York City:
- Subway: 2, 3 to Hoyt Street; A, C, G to Hoyt-Schermerhorn; or 2, 3, D, N, R, Q to Atlantic Ave-Barclays Center
- Bus: B63, B61, plus nearby B41 and B99 routes
- Bike: 8 Citi Bike stations are close by
- Car: Parking available at 200, 255, and 301 Atlantic Avenue, plus 333 Schermerhorn Street and nearby lots (street parking rules apply)
- LIRR: Take the Long Island Railroad to Atlantic Terminal and walk west to Atlantic Avenue
- Ferry: Ride the South Brooklyn Route to Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 6 (Atlantic Avenue)
