Broadway star Aisha Jackson will replace Maleah Joi Moon in The New York Pops’ upcoming concert If I Ain’t Got You: The Best of R&B on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, at 8 p.m. in Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage. Grammy-nominated singer Avery Wilson remains part of the lineup.
Jackson, known for her Broadway roles in The Great Gatsby, The Notebook, Waitress and Frozen, joins the orchestra led by Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke for a performance celebrating love, friendship and iconic R&B hits. The program will include classics such as “Let’s Stay Together,” “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” “Ordinary People” and “I Have Nothing.”
The concert is part of Carnegie Hall’s United in Sound: America at 250 festival, which highlights the diversity and evolution of American music over the past 250 years. The festival features programs that reflect the broad spectrum of voices and influences shaping U.S. musical identity.
The New York Pops, the largest independent pops orchestra in the U.S., is in its 43rd season and regularly collaborates with Broadway and recording artists. The orchestra’s PopsEd program provides music education to thousands of New York City students each year through residencies, workshops, and in-school performances.
Tickets for the concert are available at carnegiehall.org, by calling 212-247-7800, or at the Carnegie Hall box office. The program is supported in part by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and the New York State Council on the Arts.
