Arts Fishing Club to bring raw energy to Baby’s All Right on June 18

Brooklyn indie rock fans are in for a treat on June 18, when Arts Fishing Club takes the stage at Baby’s All Right. Known for their electrifying live shows and boundary-pushing performances, the band is riding the wave of their new single, “Some Kind of Dangerous,” which is out now on all platforms.

Described by the band as “a desperate plea to remain human—dangerous flesh and blood—as we rapidly witness ourselves evolving into machines,” the track marries driving percussion with soaring guitars, capturing the tension between digital overload and raw human emotion. With anthemic choruses and vivid storytelling, the song serves as both a cautionary tale and a rallying cry to embrace imperfection and passion in an increasingly mechanized world.

Arts Fishing Club is no stranger to adventure and unconventional creativity. Frontman Christopher Kessenich recently completed a 4.5-month, 1,600-mile walking tour from Maine to Nashville, performing 60 shows and staying with strangers along the way. That spirit of bold experimentation carries into the band’s live performances, which have gone viral thanks to a quirky stage element: a grill master cooking hot dogs live on stage and tossing them foil-wrapped into the audience. The stunt earned national attention, with Wide Open Country and Whiskey Riff calling AFC “the most deliciously fun show in Nashville.”

Their live sets are a high-energy blend of rock’s raw power and folk’s introspective lyricism, creating a sound that is both timeless and refreshingly original. Whether performing in small clubs, sold-out venues, or major festivals like Bonnaroo, Summerfest, Treefort, and Mile of Music, Arts Fishing Club consistently connects with fans through unforgettable performances and a fearless approach to music-making.

With a growing fanbase, viral moments, and a commitment to pushing creative boundaries, Arts Fishing Club at Baby’s All Right on June 18 promises to be a show not to miss — an indie rock experience full of energy, unpredictability, and a very literal taste of adventure.
