Atlantic Antic Festival returns to Brooklyn in September

The 51st Annual Atlantic Antic Festival will return to Brooklyn on Sunday, September 27, 2026. Produced by the Atlantic Avenue Local Development Corporation, the event runs from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. along a one-mile stretch of Atlantic Avenue from Hicks Street to Fourth Avenue.

Vendors and local businesses will line the avenue offering food, crafts, and shopping opportunities. This year’s festival expands family activities with three designated kids’ areas along the route. Mommy Poppins will host an area at Hicks Street, while Brooklyn Bridge Parents will manage a location at Boerum Place alongside a Kids Zone featuring bounce houses, pony rides, and face painting.

The event features multiple entertainment stages throughout the festival grounds. Middle Eastern musicians will perform on the Clinton Street Stage, while Kids Rock for Kids performs at Nevins Street. A Community Stage located between Third and Fourth Avenues will feature varied acts alongside the returning Antic Sing competition, where participants can perform songs from the 1970s through the 2000s.

Commemorative shirts will be available at development corporation booths located near Clinton Street and Third Avenue. Vendor applications remain open online through September 21, 2026.

Attondees can access the festival route via several public transit routes, including the Long Island Railroad at Atlantic Terminal, South Brooklyn ferry service to Pier 6, local bus lines, and nearby subway stations at Hoyt Street, Hoyt-Schermerhorn, and Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center. Parking is also available in nearby commercial garages on Atlantic Avenue and Schermerhorn Street.
