Ballet Hispánico will present Mujeres: Women in Motion, its 2026 Spring New York City season, at New York City Center from April 23–26. The program celebrates contemporary female choreographers and features two world premieres alongside new works by internationally recognized artists. Tickets start at $45, with a $25 family matinee on April 25.
The season includes Trança by Brazil’s Cassi Abranches, Reactor Antígona by Cuban choreographer Marianela Boán, Línea Recta by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, and Otra Vez, Otra Vez, Otra Vez by Stephanie Martinez. Artistic Director and CEO Eduardo Vilaro said the program “foregrounds artists who expand how stories are told through dance” and reflects Ballet Hispánico’s commitment to elevating female voices.
The April 23 opening night gala will feature a performance, reception, and dinner at The Plaza, while the family matinee offers interactive elements and full-length excerpts. Ballet Hispánico, the nation’s largest Latino dance organization, receives major support from the Arnhold Foundation, Jerome L. Greene Foundation, Mellon Foundation, and MetLife Foundation, among others.
