Beto Cuevas, the iconic frontman of Latin rock band La Ley, will return to U.S. stages this spring with a Brooklyn performance at the Brooklyn Paramount (385 Flatbush Ave Ext, Brooklyn, NY 11201) on April 7 as part of his Beto Cuevas Acústico – USA 2026 tour.
The New York City stop is one of 10 dates on the Live Nation–promoted tour, which revisits La Ley MTV Unplugged, one of the most influential albums in Latin rock history. The tour launches March 26 in Los Angeles and travels through major markets including Chicago, Miami, Dallas and Houston.
Cuevas said the concept for the tour draws inspiration from La Ley’s original MTV Unplugged session, recorded 25 years ago, while reimagining the material through a contemporary lens. The Brooklyn performance will feature refreshed arrangements designed to honor the legacy of the album while connecting with new audiences.
Recorded in Miami in 2001, La Ley MTV Unplugged helped cement the band’s status as a defining force in Spanish-language rock. The album sold more than 1.5 million copies, earned a Latin Grammy Award and has accumulated more than 515 million streams on Spotify, becoming a landmark release in the genre.
In addition to revisiting the Unplugged material, Cuevas is entering a new creative chapter. He recently released “¡Respira!”, the first single from his forthcoming studio album, slated for release in 2026. Produced by Guillermo Porro, the track signals a return to Cuevas’ rock roots, blending guitar-driven arrangements with electronic textures and an introspective tone.
