Broadway Bares will once again kick off New York City Pride Week with two high-energy, provocative performances on Sunday, June 21, at Hammerstein Ballroom, bringing together pride, passion and more than 200 dancers for one of the city’s most anticipated annual events.
Produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the one-night-only celebration will feature performances at 9:30 p.m. and midnight. Tickets are on sale now at broadwaycares.org/bares.
Now a cornerstone of NYC Pride Week, Broadway Bares blends bold choreography, show-stopping numbers and fearless performance in support of a philanthropic mission. This year’s theme will be announced later this spring.
“I’m beyond thrilled to return to the director’s chair for Broadway Bares, a show that lives at the intersection of legacy, liberation and jaw-dropping dance,” said director Kellen Stancil, resident dance supervisor for the national tour of The Lion King. “Nothing compares to that moment when the lights hit, the crowd roars and you feel hundreds of artists moving as one.”
Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Executive Director Danny Whitman said the event’s impact extends far beyond the stage. “Behind every strut, spin and sparkle is something deeply real,” Whitman said. “That one electric night fuels lifesaving care for people in our community and across the country.”
Tickets start at $75, with several VIP packages available, including reserved seating, backstage tours and access to exclusive rehearsals and private cocktail events. New for 2026, select floor ticket holders will have expanded opportunities to upgrade their experience.
Created in 1992 by Tony Award-winning choreographer Jerry Mitchell, Broadway Bares began as a small fundraiser and has since raised $31.1 million for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Last year’s standing-room-only production, Broadway Bares: Come Out, Come Out, raised $2.44 million.
Broadway Bares is supported by presenting sponsor M∙A∙C Viva Glam, with United Airlines and ViiV Healthcare serving as lead corporate sponsors.
