An adult-only interactive event named Camp Crayola will open to the public at Domino Park in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The single-day outdoor experience is scheduled for Monday, June 22, and will operate from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The event is organized to mark the debut of Crayola All Grown Up, a new merchandise collection featuring specialized art markers and hand-illustrated coloring books.
Attendees at the Brooklyn waterfront park can participate in free-flowing coloring sessions and instructional marker blending masterclasses. The temporary installation features a merchandise station where guests can customize exclusive promotional apparel. The programming inside the park relies entirely on the brand’s newly formulated alcohol-based markers, acrylic paint markers, and themed coloring pages.
The event grounds will feature several designated interactive spaces, including a central seating area called The Campfire where visitors can gather to color and converse. A musical area named DJ Trail Mixx will provide a space for guests to listen to older music selections while using the artistic tools. Refreshments, including specialized dirty sodas, will be served at an on-site station called The Cool Canteen through a partnership with Cool Sips and Jones Soda.
The layout also features themed lounge structures modeled directly after individual book releases from the product collection. A furnished space called The Cozy Cabin allows visitors to rest while coloring pages from the Cozy Cottages book title. Additionally, an installation named The Constellation Outpost will project immersive visuals based on the artwork from the Mercury in Retrograde publication.
The broader product rollout includes digital and retail distribution channels alongside the live Brooklyn activation. The collection features dual-ended alcohol markers with fine and brush tips, 10-count acrylic paint pens, and 12 distinct book themes. A dedicated mobile software application produced with Red Games Co. is also scheduled to launch on the App Store and Google Play platforms.
