L’Alliance New York (22 E 60th St, New York, NY 10022) will host French comedian, actor, and writer Vincent Dedienne for a live performance of Vincent Dedienne en concert (Un lendemain soir de gala) on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. at the Florence Gould Theater. Tickets start at $15 via L’Alliance New York’s website.
Following his worldwide tour of the one-man show Un soir de gala, Dedienne reimagined the production by collaborating with more than a dozen French songwriters—including Vincent Delerm, Alex Beaupain, Jeanne Cherhal, Ben Mazué, and Florent Marchet—who composed songs inspired by characters and stories from the show. Dedienne will perform these songs live, adding a new musical dimension to his celebrated theatrical work.
Dedienne, a graduate of the École nationale supérieure d’art dramatique at the Comédie de Saint-Étienne, has built a diverse career in theater, television, and film. He has performed in productions ranging from Molière’s Le Médecin malgré lui to contemporary pieces such as Un chapeau de paille d’Italie. In 2017 and 2022, he won the Molière de l’humour for his shows S’il se passe quelque chose… and Un soir de gala, and in 2024, he earned the Molière for best actor in a private theater performance.
In addition to theater, Dedienne has appeared on French television, including Le Supplément, Quotidien, and Grosses Têtes, and in films such as La Fête des mères (2018), Effacer l’historique (2020), and Je ne suis pas un héros (2023). He was named Chevalier dans l’ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2020.
The performance is presented in collaboration with Les Visiteurs du Soir and features live musicians and a full production team, including guitar and bass by Augustin Parsy, drums by Lola Warin, piano by Pascal Sangla, and lighting design by Jérémie Papin.
