The musical group Goose has announced a surprise concert at Central Park SummerStage in Manhattan, scheduled for June 21, 2026. The outdoor performance directly follows the band’s two-night run at Madison Square Garden on June 19 and 20. General public tickets for the newly added event go on sale Wednesday, June 17, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the SummerStage concert series, general admission tickets for the performance will be priced at $40. The performance serves as a continuation of the celebrations surrounding the band’s sixth studio album, titled BIG MODERN!, which was released last week through No Coincidence Records. The album represents the group’s third full-length studio project issued in just over a year.
The 15-track album features an array of musical genres including heartland rock piano ballads, orchestral jazz interludes, and synth rock. Band member Rick Mitarotonda noted that the thematic concepts for the material organically unraveled during the writing process for their 2025 record, Everything Must Go. The new tracklist features the single “Good Times // End Times,” which debuted alongside a music video directed by Will Thresher.
The album tracking also features the songs “Torero” and “Good2B,” with the latter reaching the number six position on national Triple A radio outlets. In addition to the concerts, a pop-up experience called the BIG MODERN! Experience + Pop-Up Shop will take place from June 18 through June 20 at The Drop House, located at 12 East 14th Street. The retail space will offer exclusive merchandise, limited-edition posters, and event items from the Madison Square Garden shows.
For fans unable to attend the upcoming indoor concerts in person, Amazon Music will host a global livestream of the June 20 performance at Madison Square Garden. The free broadcast will begin at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time and will be accessible via Prime Video, the Amazon Music app, Twitch, and Fire TV. The New York dates form part of an extensive summer tour that runs through late August across North America.
Following the summer dates, the band will launch a fall headline tour starting November 3 at The Midland Theatre in Kansas City, Missouri. The autumn schedule includes multi-night stands in Milwaukee, Nashville, Pittsburgh, and at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. One dollar from every ticket sold during both the summer and fall tours will benefit the Western Sun Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting local charities.
