Gorillaz will bring their newly announced North American arena tour to New York this fall, with a stop scheduled for Sept. 29 at Madison Square Garden.
The performance is part of the group’s 2026 North American tour in support of their latest album, The Mountain, released Feb. 27 on the band’s independent KONG label. The tour, produced by Live Nation, marks the virtual band’s first extensive run across the United States and Canada since 2022.
Tickets for the Madison Square Garden show and the rest of the tour went on sale to the general public on March 9 through the band’s website.
The tour begins Sept. 17 in Orlando, Florida, and runs through Oct. 31, concluding in Seattle. Rapper Little Simz will join Gorillaz on most tour dates, while hip-hop collective Deltron 3030 is scheduled to appear on all shows.
Created by musician Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett, Gorillaz blend music, animation, and multimedia storytelling through fictional band members 2D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle, and Russel Hobbs. Albarn leads the live performances alongside the Gorillaz touring band and a rotating lineup of guest performers.
Over the past 25 years, the group has built a global following with genre-blending hits including Feel Good Inc., Clint Eastwood, On Melancholy Hill, and DARE.
Their new album features collaborations with a wide range of artists, including Sparks, Trueno, Proof, IDLES, Omar Souleyman, Yasiin Bey, Bizarrap, Kara Jackson, and Anoushka Shankar.
Recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s most successful virtual act, Gorillaz have won numerous honors during their career, including Grammy Awards and BRIT Awards.
The Madison Square Garden performance is expected to feature the band’s signature mix of live music, visuals, and animation that has made the Gorillaz concert experience a major draw for fans worldwide.
