Catskills-based singer-songwriter Hannah Cohen is hitting Brooklyn this November for a headline performance at Music Hall of Williamsburg (66 N 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11211) on Thursday, November 21 as part of her tour supporting her critically acclaimed album Earthstar Mountain.
Cohen recently unveiled Flying Cloud Tapes, a captivating collection of live performances filmed at Flying Cloud Studios, her analogue recording studio in the Catskills co-run with producer Sam Evian and their rescue dog, Jan. The first video for the single “Mountain” is now available to watch, featuring performances from musicians Sam Evian, Meg Lui, Núria Graham, Santiago Mijares, and Sean Mullins. The collection captures the serene, creative energy of the studio nestled in the Catskills, where many artists find inspiration surrounded by meadows, streams, and quiet reflection.
Earthstar Mountain, Cohen’s latest album, has been hailed by Rolling Stone as “one of the best indie releases of the year.” The album showcases collaborations with artists such as Sufjan Stevens, Clairo, Liam Kazar, and Sean Mullins, and serves as a love letter to the Catskills and the interconnectedness of life, music, and memory.
The Brooklyn headline date is part of a string of shows in November, which also includes Kingston, NY and Philadelphia, along with festival appearances at Big Ears and Treefort Music Festival in 2026. Fans can expect Cohen to perform selections from Earthstar Mountain alongside songs from her previous work, accompanied by a rotating ensemble of her longtime collaborators.
