Southern California punk trio Joyce Manor will bring its newly expanded 2026 tour to Brooklyn Paramount on March 24, supporting its forthcoming album I Used to Go to This Bar, out Friday via Epitaph Records.
The band recently shared the album’s title track, a punchy, emotionally direct song that leans into themes of nostalgia and the quiet weight of ordinary places. Frontman Barry Johnson described the song as a reflection on “a really unremarkable bar you used to go to when you were broke,” capturing a moment in life defined by simplicity, stagnation and unexpected heartbreak.
I Used to Go to This Bar has already been named one of the most anticipated albums of 2026 by outlets including Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Vulture, Stereogum and Brooklyn Vegan. The album was produced by Brett Gurewitz of Bad Religion and Epitaph Records, marking a collaboration that situates Joyce Manor firmly within the modern punk lineage while sharpening their melodic edge.
Known for their concise, high-energy songwriting, Joyce Manor continues to evolve without losing the bite that first earned them a devoted following. The new album draws from influences ranging from AFI and Weezer to the emotional undercurrents of The Smiths, while reinforcing the band’s place in today’s rock landscape.
