The touring theatrical production Elmo’s Got the Moves is expanding its North American schedule into 2027 following its debut earlier this year. Produced by Round Room Live, the interactive show features Sesame Street characters including Elmo, Abby Cadabby, and Cookie Monster.
As part of the newly added 2027 tour schedule, the production will visit Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, New York, on Sunday, March 14, 2027. Other newly announced stops across the U.S. and Canada include Hamilton, Baltimore, San Jose, and Seattle.
The fall leg of the tour begins on September 28 in Burlington, Vermont, before traveling to additional cities such as Bangor, Durham, Dallas, Detroit, and Moose Jaw. The live show incorporates music, movement, and dancing, featuring songs such as “Sunny Days,” “Elmo’s Got the Moves,” and “Letter of the Day.”
Stephen Shaw, founder and co-CEO of Round Room Live, noted that the expanded 2027 schedule aims to bring the live production to additional communities across North America. Jennifer Ahearn, senior vice president of strategic partnerships and themed entertainment, added that the show expands on the long-running television franchise by creating a live theater experience for families.
Tickets for the newly announced dates go on sale to the general public on Friday, September 25, with pre-sale access beginning September 23 through the official tour website. Attendees also have the option to purchase separate tickets for a post-show photo experience with select costumed characters.
