L’Alliance New York (22 E 60th St, New York, NY 10022) announced its Spring 2026 programming, offering a diverse lineup of dance, theater, film, and talks from April 10 through June 24, 2026. Events will take place at L’Alliance’s Florence Gould Theater, Tinker Auditorium, and Le Skyroom, as well as off-site locations.
The season kicks off with Comic Arts Fest 2026 from April 24–26. The festival will feature conversations, screenings, masterclasses, and workshops with world-renowned comic artists including Charles Burns, Elène Usdin, Felipe Smith, Julie Rocheleau, and Benjamin Lacombe. Family-friendly programming includes drawing workshops, mask-making sessions, and live illustrated performances.
Other highlights include:
- Euphrate – A solo theater performance by Nil Bosca on May 2, exploring the dual heritage of a French-Turkish teenager through dance and spoken word.
- EUPHORIA – A family-friendly dance performance by Caroline Breton on May 30, featuring two half-human, half-owl creatures exploring movement, sound, and metamorphosis.
- CreativeMornings – A free lecture and networking series for young professionals, held on April 10, combining breakfast, discussion, and musical performances.
- Sunset Soirée at Le Bain – A free rooftop party celebrating the season on June 24, featuring DJs, cocktails, and views of the New York skyline.
Comic Arts Fest includes in-depth workshops and screenings such as Children of Captain Africa, The Legend of Kingdom Come, and Superheroes: A Never-Ending Battle, alongside hands-on drawing sessions with Lacombe, Usdin, and Smith. The festival aims to blend artistic exploration with cultural discourse, providing opportunities for attendees to engage with comics, storytelling, and visual art.
