World-renowned pianist Lang Lang will return to Carnegie Hall three times in 2026, anchoring his North American tour with performances on Feb. 27, April 10 and May 5 at the legendary New York venue.
The Feb. 27 concert marks the opening night of Lang Lang’s North American tour in support of his latest release, Piano Book 2, and comes just weeks after his appearance at the Opening Ceremony of the 2026 Olympic Winter Games on Feb. 6. The April and May Carnegie Hall dates will continue the tour’s New York presence, underscoring the city’s central role in the pianist’s 2026 schedule.
Ahead of the tour, Lang Lang has also been announced as part of the star-studded Olympic Opening Ceremony, where he will perform alongside acclaimed mezzo-soprano Cecilia Bartoli. The ceremony, themed “Armonia,” will blend sport, art and culture and will also feature artists including Mariah Carey, Andrea Bocelli and Laura Pausini.
An international superstar, Lang Lang is widely credited with expanding the reach of classical music to new and younger audiences. His performances have taken him to the world’s most prestigious stages, and his work continues to emphasize music as a universal language and a bridge across cultures.
In addition to his concert schedule, Lang Lang will host the annual “Music Heals” Gala on March 4 at the Metropolitan Club in New York City. The event, presented by the Lang Lang Foundation, supports programs that bring music education and live performances to underserved schools and children facing serious challenges.
