Molly Tuttle to perform at Brooklyn Steel on Sept. 18 during ‘The Highway Knows’ tour

On September 18, Grammy-winning artist Molly Tuttle brings her dynamic new sound to Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn, NY. As part of her nationwide “The Highway Knows” tour supporting her upcoming album So Long Little Miss Sunshine, this show promises an unforgettable night of genre-blending bluegrass, Americana, and heartfelt storytelling in one of Brooklyn’s most iconic music venues.

Following the announcement of her highly anticipated new album So Long Little Miss Sunshine, GRAMMY Award-winning artist Molly Tuttle has released a cinematic music video for the album’s lead single, “That’s Gonna Leave A Mark,” directed by Ebru Yildiz.

“I loved collaborating with Ebru Yildiz on my album cover shoot, where I played various versions of myself or different characters,” Tuttle shares. “When she proposed creating a music video that delves into the heartbreaker character from ‘That’s Gonna Leave A Mark,’ I was thrilled. Filming at the historic Hotel Chelsea in New York City made the experience unforgettable—feeling the presence of legendary artists and the echoes of iconic songs throughout the hotel’s halls was truly inspiring.”

So Long Little Miss Sunshine marks a bold sonic shift from Tuttle’s previous solo work and her band Golden Highway, blending elements of pop, country, and rock while continuing to push the boundaries of bluegrass and Americana. “I’d been wanting to make this record for a long time. Part of me was afraid to take such a big step away from what I’d done before—that’s where the album title comes from,” she explains. “But ultimately, I decided, ‘You know what? I’m going to stop worrying about what others think and just do what I want.’”

Recorded in Nashville with acclaimed producer Jay Joyce (Orville Peck, Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson), the album will be released on August 15 via Nonesuch Records.
