The Museum of Broadway will host a 30th anniversary panel celebrating the landmark musical RENT, featuring a special reading from Making RENT: The Story Behind the Music that Changed Broadway by original musical director Tim Weil. The event is set for Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 5 p.m. at 145 W. 45th Street.
The panel will be moderated by Dana Mathews and will include creative team members and cast spanning the show’s 30-year history. Confirmed participants include original director Michael Greif, original associate director Martha Banta, Broadway alum and Tony Award winner Natalie Venetia Belcon, Tony nominee Michael McElroy, and original JoAnne, Fredi Walker-Browne.
The event will be live-streamed on the Museum of Broadway Instagram (@MuseumOfBroadway), with viewers able to submit questions in real time. Tickets are available on the museum’s website.
