New York Pops announces 2026-27 Carnegie Hall season, featuring Lena Hall, Denée Benton, and John Williams Tribute

The New York Pops, led by Music Director Steven Reineke, unveiled its 2026-27 season at Carnegie Hall (57th Street and 7th Ave, New York, NY 10019) on Friday, highlighting a mix of Broadway, film scores, and holiday favorites.

The season opens Oct. 23, 2026, with 007: James Bond Forever, featuring Tony-winning, Grammy-nominated performer Lena Hall. The program will spotlight classic Bond themes spanning six decades, including GoldfingerSkyfall, and Live and Let Die.

Other season highlights include One Night Only: An Evening with Denée Benton and Jordan Donica on Nov. 20, 2026, the annual holiday concert Sleigh Bells Ring on Dec. 18-19 with Derek Klena and Lindsay Mendez, and The Debut Serieson Feb. 5, 2027, introducing Jimmie Herrod and Marisha Wallace. The season concludes March 5, 2027, with John Williams and Steven Spielberg: Movie Magic, celebrating the legendary composer-director partnership with music from Jurassic ParkE.T.Schindler’s List, and more.

“All of us at The New York Pops are thrilled to return for our 44th season at Carnegie Hall,” Reineke said. “This season will showcase the orchestra at its very best, performing epic movie music, Broadway and songbook favorites, alongside some incredible vocalists making their first appearances with the orchestra.”

Tickets for the 2026-27 season go on sale to Carnegie Hall subscribers on Aug. 3, 2026, and to the general public on Aug. 10. Subscription packages and single tickets are available at CarnegieHall.org.

Founded in 1983, The New York Pops is the nation’s largest independent pops orchestra, performing an annual series at Carnegie Hall and collaborating with artists across Broadway, film, pop, and television. The orchestra also conducts educational programs through PopsEd, providing music instruction and performance opportunities to thousands of New York City students.
