New York City’s popular winter savings program is back, as NYC Winter Outing 2026 launches with deals at more than 850 businesses across the five boroughs.
New York City Tourism + Conventions announced that bookings are now open for NYC Restaurant Week, NYC Broadway Week and NYC Must-See Week, all part of the annual initiative that runs from Jan. 20 through Feb. 12. NYC Hotel Week is already underway, offering 25% off standard rates at participating hotels through Feb. 12.
The program brings together four major promotions designed to boost tourism and support local businesses during the traditionally slower winter season. Visitors and residents alike can take advantage of prix-fixe dining, two-for-one theater and attraction tickets, and discounted hotel stays by booking through nyctourism.com/winterouting.
“NYC Winter Outing has become a cherished annual tradition that drives critical revenue for local businesses and fuels our communities across the five boroughs,” said Julie Coker, president and CEO of New York City Tourism + Conventions. “This is the ultimate value period for visitors to enjoy all that New York City has to offer — from diverse cuisine and rich cultural experiences to hotels reflective of the city’s distinct neighborhoods.”
NYC Restaurant Week features prix-fixe two-course lunches and three-course dinners for $30, $45 and $60 at nearly 600 restaurants citywide. Diners can explore curated collections ranging from classic restaurants to hidden gems, with reservations available online.
NYC Broadway Week offers two-for-one tickets to 26 shows, including Hamilton, The Lion King, Wicked, Chicago, Hadestown and MJ The Musical. Tickets are available through the official tourism site, with filters to help theatergoers sort by genre, accessibility and award-winning productions.
NYC Must-See Week adds more savings with two-for-one admission to nearly 80 museums, attractions and performing arts organizations. Participants include the Empire State Building Observatory, the New York Botanical Garden, Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Metropolitan Opera and Yankee Stadium Tours.
Meanwhile, NYC Hotel Week provides 25% off standard retail rates at more than 150 hotels across the city, from major Midtown landmarks to boutique properties in Brooklyn and Queens. The deals span more than 30 neighborhoods, making it easier for visitors to plan an affordable winter getaway.
The 2026 program is supported by partners including Amtrak, Audience Rewards, the James Beard Foundation, OpenTable, Telecharge and Ticketmaster. Amtrak serves as the official travel partner, promoting train travel as a convenient way for visitors from the Northeast Corridor to access the city’s winter offerings.
With dining, theater, attractions and accommodations all part of the same seasonal promotion, NYC Winter Outing continues to position January and February as one of the best times of year to experience New York City — at a fraction of the usual cost.
