Indiana-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter Stephen Wilson Jr. is heading to New York as part of his newly announced Gary The Torch Tour, with a stop at the Brooklyn Paramount (385 Flatbush Ave Ext, Brooklyn, NY 11201) on March 21, 2026. The tour follows his wildly successful søn of dad tour, which spanned more than two years and took the rising country-rock artist across the globe.
Tickets for the Brooklyn show go on sale to the general public Friday, November 14 at 10 a.m. local time, with artist and VIP presales beginning Tuesday, November 11 at 10 a.m. and closing Thursday, November 13 at 10 p.m. Full tour details are available at stephenwilsonjr.com.
The new tour announcement comes during a standout year for Wilson Jr., who continues to earn acclaim as one of country music’s most compelling new voices. Before hitting the road in 2026, he’s set to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on November 18 and perform at the 59th Annual CMA Awards on November 19, where he’s nominated for New Artist of the Year. At the ceremony, he’ll take the stage both solo and alongside fellow nominee Shaboozey for a special rendition of “Took A Walk,” their collaboration from the 2025 film The Long Walk, inspired by Stephen King’s novel.
Wilson Jr. will close out the year with two sold-out headline shows at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on November 23 and 24, marking yet another milestone in a breakout run that’s seen him named one of Rolling Stone’s “most electrifying new artists.”
In 2025, he released a deluxe edition of his debut double album søn of dad—featuring his viral version of “Stand By Me,” now streamed tens of millions of times and featured in a national Pampers campaign—alongside his Blankets EP, which reimagined songs by Nirvana, Temple of the Dog, The Postal Service, and The Smashing Pumpkins.
Between major festival appearances at Newport Folk Festival, supporting Eric Church at Red Rocks, and joining HARDY’s Jim Bob World Tour, Wilson Jr. has proven his genre-defying style resonates far beyond country. He’ll begin 2026 at Mile 0 Festival in Key West, rejoin Church for select February dates, and perform at Railbird and Under the Big Sky Festivals next summer.
Fans can expect an unforgettable night when Stephen Wilson Jr. brings his raw, emotional storytelling and electrifying stage presence to Brooklyn Paramount on March 21, 2026 — a must-see stop on one of next year’s most anticipated tours.
