The Black Crowes and Whiskey Myers will bring their co-headlining Southern Hospitality Tour to Forest Hills Stadium on June 13, delivering a high-voltage night of rock with opener Southall.
The New York City date is part of a 40-plus-city North American run pairing two bands celebrated for sweat-soaked live shows and road-forged reputations. Tickets are now on sale via Live Nation.
Fans who sign up for the artist presale, powered by Seated, will unlock an exclusive new recording by The Black Crowes and Whiskey Myers, produced by Grammy-winning producer Jay Joyce. Additional presales include Citi and Mastercard options ahead of the general on-sale through Live Nation.
The tour announcement arrives as The Black Crowes release “It’s Like That,” featured in ESPN on ABC’s NHL campaign, ahead of their upcoming album A Pound of Feathers, due out March 13. The band is enjoying a renewed surge that includes a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album for Happiness Bastards and their first-ever nomination to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Whiskey Myers joins the bill following the release of Whomp Whack Thunder, an album that further sharpens the band’s gritty storytelling and muscular sound. The multi-platinum independent act is known for uncompromising performances that blend Southern rock, country, and hard-edged Americana.
With thunderous rhythms, searing guitar work and setlists that mix classics, deep cuts and crowd-ready anthems, the Southern Hospitality Tour promises a no-frills celebration of rock ’n’ roll.
