Winter Games spirit comes to Bryant Park with watch parties, ice events, and themed skating

While the Winter Games take place in Milan this February, New Yorkers won’t have to leave the city to join the celebration. The Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park will host weeks of Winter Games–inspired programming, bringing international competition, interactive attractions, and themed events to the heart of Manhattan from Feb. 6–22.

Visitors can cheer on Team USA during daily watch parties inside The Lodge, where oversized screens will stream live events beginning Feb. 6. The space will also feature winter sports–themed food and drinks, a medal count wall tracking each country’s progress, and a winners’ podium outfitted with props for celebratory photos.

Beyond watching the competition, guests can take part in hands-on experiences throughout the Winter Village. A genuine Team USA bobsled from Lake Placid will be on display for a free photo opportunity daily from Feb. 6–26, 11 a.m.–7 p.m. Nearby, iceless curling lanes will be available at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis during the same dates and hours.

One of the village’s most popular attractions, Bumper Cars on Ice, will remain open through Feb. 28. Riders can bump, slide, and spin during 10-minute sessions on The Rink, with tickets released on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis.

The Winter Games theme will also extend to the ice itself. On select evenings beginning Feb. 6, Bryant Park will host country-themed skate nights featuring international music from nations including Korea, Canada, Norway, and Italy. The kickoff event is scheduled for Feb. 6 from 6–9 p.m., with additional themed dates to be announced. Special skating lessons and clinics will also be offered during select programs.

The Winter Village is open daily, with The Lodge welcoming guests from 10 a.m.–10 p.m. Programming is included with park access unless otherwise noted, making Bryant Park a central gathering spot for Winter Games fans throughout February.
