Indian stand-up comedian Zakir Khan will bring his globally popular Hindi-language comedy to audiences across the United States this spring with a newly announced 2026 tour.

The tour begins April 17 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City before continuing to major cities including Houston, San Jose, Seattle, Austin, Los Angeles, Boston and Washington, D.C. Organizers say strong demand has already led to an additional show being added in San Jose, while one of two performances scheduled for Washington, D.C., has already sold out.

Reflecting on the announcement, Khan said the opportunity to perform in large venues around the world remains meaningful.

“Every tour feels like a new beginning,” he said in a statement. “To see stories that began in small rooms now filling some of the most beautiful venues in the world is something I never take for granted. I’m excited to bring these new moments to everyone this spring.”

Khan has rapidly become one of the most influential voices in global stand-up comedy. He was named among the “Comedy Breakthrough” performers by the entertainment industry publication Deadline Hollywood in 2025.

The comedian has achieved several historic milestones, including performing at Madison Square Garden and becoming the first Asian comedian to headline Royal Albert Hall in London.

Khan’s popularity extends far beyond the stage. With more than 1 billion views across YouTube and social media platforms and over 18 million followers worldwide, he has built one of the largest global audiences for an Indian stand-up comic. His comedy specials on Amazon Prime Video — including Haq Se Single, Kaksha Gyaarvi and Tathastu — are among the highest-rated stand-up releases by an Indian comedian.

He is also known for one of YouTube’s most widely viewed comedy clips, “When I Met a Delhi Girl,” and hosts the podcast Ummeed, which ranks among the most-streamed podcasts in India.

Born in Indore, Khan’s comedy style blends personal storytelling with observations about family life, ambition, and identity in modern India. Performing primarily in Hindi, he rose to prominence in a comedy scene that had long been dominated by English-language stand-up. His anecdotes about small-town life and generational expectations have resonated with audiences both in India and abroad.

When performing internationally, Khan’s shows often serve as communal gatherings for South Asian audiences, where language, nostalgia, and shared cultural experiences play a central role.

Over the course of his career, Khan has sold more than 3 million tickets across 150 cities worldwide, continuing to expand the reach and visibility of Hindi-language comedy on the global stage.
