California punk-rock icons Joyce Manor will stop at the Brooklyn Paramount on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, as part of their headline tour in support of their highly anticipated new album, I Used To Go To This Bar. The record, due January 30, 2026 via Epitaph Records, marks a new chapter for the Torrance, California trio of Barry Johnson, Chase Knobbe, and Matt Ebert, blending short-and-sweet pop-punk precision with emotionally resonant storytelling.
The band recently released the lead single, “Well, Whatever It Was,” accompanied by a music video directed by Lance Bangs that parodies The Great British Bake Off with comedians and musicians playing UK rockstars. Johnson describes the track as “one of the most Southern California sounding songs ever recorded,” citing influences ranging from Jane’s Addiction to the Beach Boys, Weezer, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Produced by punk legend Brett Gurewitz of Bad Religion and Epitaph Records, I Used To Go To This Bar channels the band’s classic energy while exploring new musical terrain. The album follows 2023’s 40 oz. to Fresno, which drew praise from The New York Times as “a relentlessly tuneful 17-minute collection of all-killer, no-filler power-pop,” and Pitchfork, which called it “a loving, uncynical refinement of the band’s best.”
Joyce Manor have kept busy in recent years, touring extensively, collaborating with Weezer, making their television debut on Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney, and celebrating the 10-year anniversary of Never Hungover Again. The new album and tour underscore the band’s status as South Bay punk royalty and a generational force in contemporary punk music.
Tickets for the March 24 Brooklyn Paramount show are available now at joyce-manor.com/tour. Fans can expect a high-energy performance that highlights both the band’s new material and the classic hits that have defined their nearly two-decade career.
This Brooklyn stop is part of a nationwide tour supporting I Used To Go To This Bar, promising a must-see night for punk and indie-rock enthusiasts alike.
