Las Vegas pop-rock band The Cab will headline Irving Plaza on June 27, part of their upcoming Back From The Dead Tour following the release of their long-awaited full-length album, Chasing Crowns, set for April 24.
The show marks a milestone for the band, which returned in 2025 after a more than a decade-long hiatus. Their first single from the new album, “Locked and Loaded,” is set to drop Feb. 20, giving fans a first taste of the 14-track record that reflects 14 years of the band’s creative journey.
Frontman Alex DeLeon expressed excitement about performing for fans again. “After all this time, it feels like we are finally home again. We have been waiting over ten years to be able to headline, release an album, and sing these songs again with the fans, so this is completely surreal,” he said.
The Back From The Dead Tour launches May 22 with stops in cities including Dallas, Los Angeles, Seattle, Denver, Chicago, Nashville, Boston, and New York. Pre-sale tickets, VIP packages, and bundles including vinyl copies of the new album are available now, with general on-sale beginning Feb. 20.
Formed in 2005, The Cab gained early recognition through associations with Panic! at the Disco and Fall Out Boy. Their 2008 debut, Whisper War, hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart, and their independently released 2011 album Symphony Soldier solidified their standing in the alternative music scene. Their hit “Angel With a Shotgun” has amassed over 260 million streams and continues to thrive on short form platforms like TikTok.
With Chasing Crowns, The Cab continues to blend pop, rock, and R&B influences, exploring themes of growth, reinvention, and emotional clarity. The band’s current lineup features Alex DeLeon (vocals), Alex Marshall (guitar, keys), Dave Briggs (drums), Joey Thunder (bass), and Chantry Johnson (guitar).
