Singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles will return to the concert stage this autumn for her upcoming Good Grief Tour, which includes a performance at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on September 18. Promoted by Live Nation, the concert series marks her first major theatrical tour in several years. The live performances will feature a combination of career-spanning material and new tracks from her upcoming studio album.
The tour supports her seventh studio album, Good Grief, which is scheduled for release on August 28 through Epic Records. Produced by Bareilles, the 14-track project represents her first full-length studio release since 2019. The album was primarily tracked during a six-day session at Dreamland Recording Studios in Woodstock, New York, with additional production completed by Aaron Dessner at Long Pond Studios in the Hudson Valley.
The recording process for the album is chronicled in an accompanying documentary film titled Sara Bareilles: Good Grief, which holds its world premiere at the Tribeca Festival. The album features collaborations with several musicians and writers, including Brandi Carlile, Ingrid Michaelson, and Joe Tippett. The track list also features the song “Salt Then Sour Then Sweet,” which was recently shortlisted for the 98th Academy Awards.
General ticket sales for the Radio City Music Hall performance and other national tour dates open on Wednesday, June 10 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Initial ticket availability begins with pre-sales for artists, Verizon customers, and Citi cardholders on Monday, June 8.
