The musical duo Hovvdy has announced an upcoming headlining tour that includes a performance in Manhattan. The band, consisting of members Will Taylor and Charlie Martin, is scheduled to perform at Webster Hall on November 4. The autumn tour will traverse various cities across the United States and Canada during October and November.
The concert series serves as support for their upcoming sixth full-length album, Big World, which is scheduled for release on August 14 through the Arts and Crafts label. Performers Emma Ogier and Christian Lee Hutson are slated to join the tour as supporting acts. Prior to the headlining run, the duo will perform as opening acts for Bleachers and Wilco during the summer months.
The tour announcement coincides with the release of their new single titled “Blast,” which is accompanied by a music video directed by Michael Rees. The track follows the release of their lead album single “Try Try Try.” The songwriting on the upcoming album shifts toward more enigmatic subject matter, reflecting the band’s focus on conciseness and real-time writing.
The duo recently relocated to Nashville, where both members have established themselves as published songwriters. Their new material follows the release of their self-titled 2024 album. For the new project, Taylor and Martin altered their traditional creative process by entering the recording studio with only instrumental tracks rather than fully-drafted demos.
The recording sessions took place between Nashville and Asheville during the fall of 2025. The album was produced by the duo’s longtime collaborator Ben Littlejohn.
