Works and Process has announced its fall 2026 season, featuring premieres, rotunda dance parties, and creative residencies across New York City. Events will take place at Guggenheim New York, Manhattan West, and Free Food Refettorio Harlem.
The season opens September 9 with Gather Round: Let’s Dance!, a free outdoor series presented with Manhattan West. Taking place every Wednesday in September at 5 p.m., the series features local dancers and choreographers celebrating social dance traditions through performances, instruction, and open dancing.
As part of the Guggenheim Member Monday program, SCUFF Queer Country Dancing will host a rotunda dance party at Guggenheim New York. Attendees can view the museum galleries before participating in a dance lesson and party.
In October, Works and Process will present pop-up performances by MasterZ at Work Dance Family at Free Food Refettorio Harlem over four nights. The venue will host Courtney “Balenciaga” Washington’s commissioned work, The 24/7 Diner, which uses street dance and theater to depict an all-night diner.
Beyond its New York City performances, the organization supports artist development through 22 fully funded residencies across seven states. Five Works and Process commissions will also tour nationally and internationally this fall.
