The Tony Award-winning musical SIX will celebrate Spirit Week from Nov. 9 to 13 at the Lena Horne Theatre, 256 W. 47th St. in Manhattan. The week includes three specially themed nights for fans to toast the show’s spirit of fun and sisterhood. With only 94 performances remaining, the celebration offers audiences a chance to join in before the Broadway run ends.
Spirit Week begins Monday, Nov. 9, with BYOC: Bring Your Own Crown Night, hosted by Tony Award nominee Christiani Pitts. Guests are invited to bring their favorite crown, and those who arrive without one will be provided with one.
On Thursday, Nov. 12, Chloe’s Court: Taking Back the Microphone features Chloe Lukasiak of “Dance Moms” in a post-show conversation with the Queens. The discussion will focus on life on stage, sisterhood, and the power of finding your voice.
The week closes Friday, Nov. 13, with Rep Your Queen Night and Costume Contest. Fans can dress as their favorite Queen or take inspiration from her color for a chance to win royal prizes. The contest will be judged by SIX Associate Costume Designer Amanda Jenks.
Participation in each themed night requires the purchase of a ticket to the show. Tickets are available through the production’s official website.
The cast features Najah Hetsberger as Catherine of Aragon, Chloe Tucker Caine as Anne Boleyn, Natalie Paris as Jane Seymour, Aimie Atkinson as Katherine Howard, Olivia Donalson as Anna of Cleves and Stephanie Jae Park as Catherine Parr. Lauryn Adams, Sierra Fermin, Julia McLellan and Aiyana Smash serve as alternates.
SIX, written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, is in its sixth year on Broadway and has played to more than 2 million people. It is the longest-running show to play the Lena Horne Theatre and the 39th longest-running show in Broadway history. The musical opened on Oct. 3, 2021, and will give its final Broadway performance on Jan. 3, 2027.
The production has won 35 awards, including the 2022 Tony Award for Best Original Score and the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical. Its Original Broadway Cast Recording, SIX: Live on Opening Night, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard cast album chart and earned a 2023 Grammy Award nomination for Best Musical Theatre Album.
