Brooklyn Bowl has unveiled its spring lineup for The Rock and Roll Playhouse, a national family concert series that brings kid-friendly live music to Williamsburg every Sunday through June.
Founded in 2014 by concert promoter Peter Shapiro, the series is entering its 12th year. The performances are designed for children ages 1 to 7, reimagining the music of iconic artists through interactive games, movement, and storytelling.
The upcoming season at Brooklyn Bowl features “Playhouse Plays” shows, where the house band performs music from legendary catalogs, and “Playhouse Presents” events featuring outside acts. The spring schedule includes tributes to Phish, Bob Dylan, Bad Bunny, and Prince, alongside themed events such as a Pride Party and a “Grateful Dads” celebration.
The Rock and Roll Playhouse began at Brooklyn Bowl and has since expanded to 33 states and 114 cities, becoming the largest national family-friendly live concert series in the U.S. Past shows have covered a diverse range of artists, including the Grateful Dead, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and David Bowie.
Located in the historic 19th-century Hecla Iron Works building, Brooklyn Bowl combines a concert experience with 16 bowling lanes and food from the Blue Ribbon restaurant group.

- May 16: GOLDEN (K-Pop Kids Party)
- May 17: Music of Phish (Page McConnell Birthday Celebration)
- May 24: Music of Bob Dylan (Birthday Celebration)
- May 31: Music of Bad Bunny
- June 7: Music of Prince (Birthday Bash)
- June 14: Music of Queen (Pride Party featuring Scaramouche & The Fandangos)
- June 21: Music of Grateful Dead (Grateful Dads featuring Kara Cavanaugh Band)
