Brooklyn Bridge Park has announced the schedule for its 26th annual outdoor film series, Movies With A View. The free event will take place on Thursday evenings throughout July and August at the Pier 1 Harbor View Lawn. This year, the programming will expand to include an additional family film night on Friday, Sept. 18.

The selected films cover a variety of genres, including action, romantic comedy, and a musical. The screenings are set in various global locations ranging from Costa Rica and the southern coast of Italy to New York City. The park lawn will open to the public at 6:00 p.m. each evening, with film screenings beginning at sunset.

Admission to the outdoor series is free and operating on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees are permitted to bring picnic blankets or small, soft cushions for seating. Park regulations prohibit lawn chairs, dogs, glass bottles, and outside alcoholic beverages on the lawn.

Local concessionaire Fornino will sell popcorn, water, soft drinks, and alcoholic options for visitors who are 21 years of age or older. Visitors are also permitted to bring their own food or purchase items from nearby neighborhood restaurants. The event space overlooks the New York Harbor and lower Manhattan skyline.

Eyewear brand Persol is sponsoring the film series this season and will host on-site activations reflecting its Spring/Summer 2026 campaign. According to park officials, approximately 735,000 moviegoers have attended the series since it originally launched in 2000.
