Phoebe Bridgers performs at Cherry Lane Theatre in Manhattan

Musician Phoebe Bridgers has released a special performance recorded for the Sound Check series at the historic Cherry Lane Theatre in Manhattan. Directed by filmmaker Lance Oppenheim, the three-song set features a stripped-back performance inside the West Village venue.

The intimate recording session follows Bridgers’ sold-out performances at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn during her recent global tour. The set includes a performance of the song “On Video” from the film Primetime, alongside tracks performed with boygenius bandmates Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus and producer Ethan Gruska.

The complete set list for the Cherry Lane Theatre session features “On Video” with Ethan Gruska, as well as “Haunted” and “Lost Boys” performed with boygenius. Director Lance Oppenheim’s film Primetime is currently playing in United States theaters, with international cinema releases scheduled in the United Kingdom and Australia.

The performance series is produced by A24, A24 Music, and Cherry Lane Theatre, showcasing artists on the venue’s historic stage. Previous installments in the Sound Check series feature performances by musical acts including Tame Impala and Blood Orange, with videos distributed through A24’s digital channels.

Located in Greenwich Village, Cherry Lane Theatre is recognized as the oldest continuously running off-Broadway theater in New York City. Following its acquisition by A24 and reopening in September 2025, the historic venue hosts programming across theater, comedy, music, and film.
